This gastronomic trip in the most famous Roman district starts from Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere.  We will pass through houses, alleys and palaces, squeezed between the Gianicolo and the Tiber River, up to the Tiber Island.

A place where time seems to have stopped, with foods and fragrances of the past. We will taste the fried artichokes alla giudia, the zucchini flowers, the supplì and then the Roman stretched pizza, the old traditional bread, the cheese and mozzarella, the local cold cuts, the quartino of wine. We will visit an old oven that has been baking typical pastries for three generations, and an artisan laboratory of cone ice cream.
